Here is the case study form that I use. I simply mark the corresponding letter on the diagram. You may modify it to suit your own unique way of recording.
Or you may create your very own case study form to best suit your style!

As mentioned above you have the freedom to custom design your own case study lay out!
Remember: the more detailed you are with information, before and after pictures and video, the better for you!
Your case studies essentially create your testimonials and reputation as you begin to attract a clientele.
Note: You will be completing a total of 4 case studies.
- You may use other animals besides dogs!
- Each case study will have a total of 4 visits.
- One visit once a week for 4 weeks.
- The fourth visit is a follow up visit to see how the animal has progressed with the previous 3 visits.
- You may choose to give a final session at visit 4.

Assignment 1 ( for ALL students )
Choose 5 common dog breeds of your choice to research the following:
~ brief history of origin
~ character traits
~ common health ailments.
~ give a detailed description of each ailment and how it is commonly treated.

Assignment 2 ( for ALL Students )
Give a detailed explanation of the signs and symptoms of the following 8 common mobility issues that you may see in your ABT Practice.
Include how a Veterinarian would diagnose and treat.
- hip dysplasia
- intervertebral disk disease ( IVDD )
- arthritis
- degenerative myelopathy
- knee injury
- spinal cord injury
- spondylosis
- choose a mobility issue that interests you!

How would you approach (in a physical manner) each animal according to their unique personality trait in an ABT session ?

Assignment 4 (for all Students ~ Bowen Practitioners may choose to exempt)
Write a 250 word essay about the fascinating world of Fascia. Add your thoughts on how Bowen works with this incredible webbing.
Recommended Purchase: Bowen Unravelled by Julian Baker.
As part of this assignment I highly recommend reading and summarizing from Julian Bakers book, Bowen Unravelled. This is, in my opinion, an interesting and informative book about Bowen. Julian dives into the fascinating world of Fascia and for the first time in print we are learning how Fascia and Bowen work together. Julian also shares many of his theories on Bowen, all of which should be considered.
If you choose to purchase and read this book, I caution you to stay true to what you know about Animal Bowen Therapy.
Remember that we are unique in working with animals.
Our approach, our intuition and our experiences with Bowen differ from those who work with the Human Body.
